‘Captain Fantastic’, India Captain & Bangalore Football Club (BFC) Captain Sunil Chhetri wears many hats — helping dogs is one. The world’s second highest goal after overtaking Lionel Messi and behind only Ronaldo, Sunil Chettri.

Sunil is a Padma Shri & Arjuna Awardee, AIFF Player of the Year 5 times, AFC Challenge Cup Most Valuable Player, Hero of the I-League, Hero of the Indian Super League & Hero of the Intercontinental Cup.

Now he plays for stray dogs in supporting VOSD Sanctuary Hospital. Sunil has been a VOSD patron for many years and has visited the rescued dogs at the VOSD Sanctuary. In an interview to The Economic Times on his life in Bangalore, he had mentioned VOSD and it’s Founder Rakesh Shukla to be his favorite Bangaloreans.

He gives his support by donating his personal India and BFC jerseys for auction in support of the VOSD Sanctuary Hospital.
