Buckley was alone and scared when his rescuer found him near his house one evening. The beautiful chocolate-coloured dog looked like he could have been abandoned. In any case, the kind rescuer immediately took him in because the pack of dogs on their street were known to be territorial and the young pooch would not stand a chance against them.
He fostered Buckley for a while but was unable to care for him for the long haul. So, he put him up at a boarding place and began scouting for suitable adopters simultaneously. Unfortunately, no one came forward to adopt the mixed Indian breed dog. As the last resort his rescuer approached VOSD and expressed keenness to surrender him. Soon after, Buckley came to us under the “Rescuer’s Surrender” category.
The sweet little pooch immediately fell in love with his new home. He is very friendly, curious and hopeful as all young dogs are and is already spreading his good cheer. Buckley has accepted VOSD as his place of solace for life; mutually, our dogs and caregivers also adore the happy boy and enjoy spending time playing with him. He won’t ever have to worry about safety, food, or affection for as long as he is with us!
