What you will learn

Bruce’s family adopted him nine years ago from the streets. For the first four years, everything was hunky dory. Bruce and family were enjoying each other’s company. However, Bruce’s health saw a steady decline from 2017. He developed thyroid issues, kidney stones, and the medicines that he was taking also gave rise to multiple skin problems. His living quarters were also quite small so his movement was largely curtailed.

Meanwhile, Bruce’s family was considering sending the old dog to a sanctuary where he could be under the constant surveillance of medical professionals. They learned about VOSD from an acquaintance and sent us a request stating Bruce’s problem. In due course, Bruce was surrendered to VOSD under the ‘Paid Pet Surrender’ category.

Bruce is a happy dog and felt right at home at VOSD; albeit he came with a severe skin disease. His treatment has been initiated and the doctors have been using VOSD’s Organic 6-in-1 Dog Body Lotion to treat his skin infection. We are certain that he will see a marked improvement in his condition really soon. Additionally, Bruce has been very cooperative and patient with his doctors. He is eating properly and socializing with all the people and dogs. Before long, he will also start enjoying perfect health and lead a full life with us at VOSD. Most importantly, he will never be rejected by his VOSD family; he will be loved unconditionally in his forever home.

Just like ol’ Bruce, hundreds of old and chronically sick pets have been surrendered to us. They all get specialised medical attention and care at VOSD. Help us provide a safe and permanent home for more such dogs by donating INR 5,000 (~$65) one-time or monthly: https://vosd.in/active-campaigns/monthly-expenses/
