Bangalore, India: VOSD Trust, run by the VOSD Pet & Vet Corporation, is soliciting bids for the supply of labour/ manpower, consumables, and medical expertise for the upkeep & maintenance of 1500 dogs & the hospital that treats them. This award will be given in 3 parts of approx. value of INR 1 crore each.

Part 1: LABOUR CONTRACT

ANNUAL VALUE: Upto INR 100 lacs depending on the number of people on contract

WHO CAN APPLY: Anyone with experience in supplying labour, people for an NGO for dogs, or with experience in Dairy, Poultry farming etc.

SUPPLIER TERMS: Min 20 adults as labourers at a location 20km from Bangalore city limits • Labour can stay with families including wives and children • 1 room set for each family and a shared basis for single men will be provided (furniture included, utensils etc not included) • Clean toilets and baths with accommodation. 24-hour power with generator and running water • Common refrigerator provided • Use of common kitchen (gas stove provided, gas cylinder not included) or the option of cooking in your room (gas not included) • transport for the weekly trip to nearest market included • upto 1 month unpaid leave per year • Payments will be monthly, paid into vendors Bank account or labour. No cash payments.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES • Cleaning floors and open areas 4-5 times a day • cleaning hospital and kennel areas and vacuuming with an industrial wet vacuum – 24*7 • washing/ mopping cemented floors 2/day • cooking for dogs (1/day) • serving food for dogs (2/day) • spraying medicine on walls of kennels

3-4 times a month.

Part 2: MEDICAL TREATMENTS & HOSPITAL SUPPLIES OF HUMAN MEDICINES

ANNUAL VALUE Upto INR 100 lacs (depending on options)

WHO CAN APPLY: • any vet, vet clinic, vet hospital, or NGO with experience of managing dogs and treatments or • any manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler of human medicine – Please note VOSD will procure the least price brand of the same drug not necessarily your brand • NOTE only limited drugs and all vaccinations procured are dog specific which can be procured by VOSD directly.

SCOPE OF WORK • Sr vet Consultant – based in Bangalore (option) • Jr Vet – 1, VOSD Sanctuary (option) • Paravets, min 3 residential at VOSD Sanctuary (required) • Diagnostics, VOSD Bangalore (option) • Medical supplies, delivery to VOSD Bangalore (required) • Payments will be as per the agreed payments terms into vendors Bank account. No cash payments.

WHO CAN APPLY: • Any manufacturer, distributor or wholesaler of items listed below

ITEMS TO BE SUPPLIED: • FOOD SUPPLIES: Human-grade Rice, PCP human-grade chicken, curd, vegetables. Vegetable oil etc • CONDIMENTS: Haldi, enzymes, etc • CLEANING SUPPLIES – including consumables

WALKING & GROOMING: 1-2 times a week for socialising and grooming specific dogs. Consumables will be supplied by VOSD.
