In Lucknow, a gang of bike thieves was caught with unexpected help from stray dogs. Police said the group had stolen over 40 motorcycles in the past year. The breakthrough happened near Kudiya Ghat, where the thieves tried to run from the police. But a pack of stray dogs blocked their way, barking and growling until the police closed in. The gang included six men from Sitapur and a 16-year-old boy. All the stolen bikes were recovered. DCP Vishwajeet Srivastava praised the dogs, saying this time “man’s best friend” proved to be the police’s best ally too. The unusual chase that turned stray dogs into crime fighters has quickly become the talk of the town.
