Rajlakshmi Kanjilal shares the story of her rescued babies:
“It was around this time of the year 10 years ago when a pup was walking down the street. Before I knew it, I heard a yelp and stopped the car. I found a tiny golden Indie pup lying sitting on the road. I took her home, gave her some water, called the vet and he said that our Lab would eat her! Now, she is 10 years old and she was our first little girl. Three years later, we adopted three more pups, one who was naughty and the mom of the other two went missing leaving us with five pups. Three pups were re-homed but no one wanted the two girls. From 5 our pack is down to three girls. Couldn’t have been more blessed.”
