Why is the location confidential?

The exact GPS location of VOSD is confidential and will only be shared with you upon successful booking and verification.

We do this for two reasons:

  • Safety: To protect our staff and the 1,800+ vulnerable dogs in our care.
  • Prevention of Abandonment: Publicizing our location often leads to people abandoning puppies or sick dogs outside our gates. This risks the health of our resident dogs (due to infection) and puts the abandoned dogs in grave danger.

Please Note:

  • The sanctuary is approximately 60km from Bangalore.
  • The location must not be shared publicly or with non-registered guests.
  • We request that visitors adhere to the proposed time and arrive on time. This helps us run the guided sanctuary tour smoothly and ensures you don’t miss any part of the experience.
